When I was originally pulling together my gift guide for Valentine’s Day last month, I had to decide which blog post I wanted to refresh. Since I’ve had this blog for 13 years, there are THOUSANDS of blog posts in my archives. Rather than starting a brand new blog post with a brand new URL, I prefer to go back and find the prior year’s post and update that one. Not only does it feel more organized to me, it also helps with search engine optimization, which is WAY more information than you needed to know.

All of that to say, the very first iteration of this blog post was one that I planned to delete. It didn’t serve a real purpose because I already had gift guides for all of the traditional seasons. But then it occurred to me that I didn’t have a generic, non-holiday-specific gift guide. A guide that would actually be helpful to reference when someone needs ideas for a birthday present, a graduation gift, something small to give a friend who’s hosting you for a weekend or letting you use their vacation home. A trusty source for gifts, no matter the season or occasion.

So that’s what I’m sharing today! March is actually Tommy’s birthday month, so it works out perfectly. Here are my favorite go-to gift ideas for the guys in your life.

My Favorite Go-To Gifts for Guys

Vuori Meta Jogger

I’m actually ordering these joggers for Tommy’s birthday this month. He’s recently started to wear more athleisure (he is usually dressed in a golf polo – tucked in – no matter what he’s doing that day), and I personally love Vuori, so I bet he will too.

Vuori Sunday Performance Jogger

I’m getting the Sunday Performance Jogger for him too since the material is different. These are more loungy than the others, and I think he’ll really like them for wearing around the house on the weekeneds.

ON Cloudnova Sneakers

These Cloudnova Sneakers are so cool looking. I want to get Tommy sneakers and some tops to go with those pants so he has complete outfits to wear. I’m sort of in to the Moon/Ice colorway.

Duck Head Performance Poplin Sport Shirt

Tommy could not be more obsessed with Duck Head if he tried. I’m serious– his love for this brand runs deep. In the colder months, Tommy wears their Fremont Performance Quilted Vest every single day (so if you find this post in cooler weather, snag that!). But now that it’s warm, he wears the Polo Shirts almost daily. He has every single color! And if he’s not in the polo, he’s in their Sport Shirt.

Hypervolt Massage Gun

I’ve given a handful of the guys in my life a Hypervolt over the years, and it’s a hit every single time. There are a TON of brands and price points on the market now, so there is definitely something in every budget. A Hypervolt specifically isn’t necessarily the only way to go. Since that the brand I own, I always recommend it since I can speak to the quality, but I know there are a ton of other great options on the market. A massage gun in general is a perfect gift for a guy. Tech gifts are fun since you get to “play” with them!

LAKE Bamboo Relax Pants

I know very few guys who will buy themselves nice lounge pants or pajamas, but every guy I know loves them once they have a pair. My favorite brand for PJs (for myself!) is LAKE, and they have the perfect lounge pants for guys. I especially love that they aren’t classified as pajamas, since that may turn some guys off. This pair of Bamboo Lounge Pants is made of the smoothest, cooling bamboo material that has just a touch of spandex to make them stretchy and comfortable. They have pockets and fit a little bit like joggers. My content manager gave her very outdoorsy husband (who would have rolled his eyes at fancy pajamas) a pair for Christmas, and he is OBSESSED.

The fit is true to size, and the price tag is ideal–right in the $75 range.

Carhartt Seat Tool Organizer

I got one of my five brothers this Carhartt over-the-seat tool organizer for Christmas two years go. It’s so handy, durable, and practical since he always has tools in his car. I love the canvas material of Carhartts! And who doesn’t love when their guy’s car is clean and organized? You could pair this with a membership to a car wash for a bigger gift. My husband washes and vacuums his car every single week with his membership. A car wash membership would be an awesome gift on it’s own too for a 16 year old who’s starting to drive!

I love a unique $50-range gift like this.

Narada Solid Fragrance

This is a unique gift that I gave to my brother in law last year. It’s a solid, rub-on cologne that has the best notes ever: bergamot, rosewood, and ginger with hints of black pepper and resin. I’m very partial to the packaging too. Easy to travel with too.

Ember Mug

If the guy you’re shopping for is a coffee drinker, I have the PERFECT gift. Other than a super fancy espresso machine (which, if you can go that route, stop reading right now and buy that instead!), the best gift I can think of is an Ember Coffee Mug. I truly can’t believe I went so long without one. I finally caved and ordered one when I learned that the charging puck only had to be used when the mug was out of battery (for some reason I thought the mug had to sit on the coaster to stay warm and that sounded like too much effort), I bought an Ember and I’ve never looked back. Most moms know that your coffee is rarely hot when you actually get to drink it, and this changes the game.

Accessory Box

I got this personalized accessory box for Tommy as an anniversary gift last year. He loves it! It sits on the top of his dresser in our closet and has become the landing place for his watch, cuff links, sunglasses, etc.

Needlepoint Sunglasses Strap

A needlepoint sunglasses strap makes a great gift under $50. I got Tommy the American Flag style strap, but they also have fun designs like a trout pattern (great for a fly fisherman), this golden retriever design, and so many others.

Solo Stove Fire Pit

A Solo Stove would be on the pricier end of gifts, but if you’re shopping for your husband, you can also consider this a gift for yourself. I’m adding it to this list because it’s on my personal list of gifts to buy Tommy. We want to have an outdoor set up in our yard where we can make s’mores with the kids and host our community group, etc.

An experience

There’s nothing better than an experience. Concert tickets, a guided fishing trip, a round of golf at a dream golf course, a couples massage, a weekend getaway, etc. The best memories are always made when you’re doing something with the person you love.

I LOVE Valentine’s Day. LOVE it. Growing up, we had the Valentine Man tradition and as an adult, I still love Valentine’s Day. I love an excuse to celebrate love and I think it’s just a fun, sweet holiday without all the stress of Christmas or the overly done Halloween. (Yep, I said it. Halloween just isn’t my thing – maybe when Thomas is older I’ll appreciate it more!)

I also love the colors and patterns of Valentine’s Day. While I don’t have a ton of decorations for Valentine’s Day, I’m slowly working to collect some simple things! I bought this garland for the mantle (easy to hang and take down) last year, this little heart shaped waffle maker (we do Waffle Sundays!), and this cute little pillow cover that is great on a porch bench (which I still need to buy for our new house!).

I bought this wreath on Etsy last year, and I found some very similar heart-shaped wreath options this year too.

TeriLyn Adams adding Valentine's Day decor on her door and sharing her gift guide for your husband or boyfriend

While we opt to stay in for Valentine’s Day and save the fancy date night for a night out that’s not so crowded at restaurants, I like to do something fun on Valentine’s Day at home. And, I love finding ways to celebrate in the month leading up for February 14.

It’s also fun to host a Galentines dinner party with girlfriends to celebrate your friendship. (And I have you covered in this blog post with Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for girlfriends!), Okay, let’s get into some gift ideas for the guy in your life.

Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for Him

Shopping for Valentine’s gifts for the man in your life is really fun because there isn’t usually a huge expectation around gifts (at least in our house). Something small is great, and a bigger gift is usually a happy surprise. One year, Tommy and I decided to gift each other a Peloton. But usually, we just do small gifts and exchange cards.

I know that Valentine’s Day gifts can be a little tricky if you just started dating someone or if you have no idea what to get your boyfriend or husband, but you want to get them something! This post has you covered with gift ideas for your man at lots of different price points.

1. Festive Boxer Shorts

I think festive boxers like these with mini hearts are a fun and silly way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Your husband will likely roll his eyes, but I love a silly gift like this. And, let’s be honest, most guys could use new boxers to sleep in. These are less than $15 and would be fun paired with the Yeti mug below.

2. A Grill Tool Set

This Amazon grill tool set is a fun and practical gift. And then you have an excuse to throw out your old tools which get nasty and are never replaced regularly (or is that just at our house?). If you want to go really big and get something the whole family can use, this pizza oven would be a huge hit. You could even make some heart-shaped pizzas. ;). Can you tell I’m obsessed with all things heart-shaped?

3. American Flag Sunglasses Strap

I got this for Tommy a few years ago and LOVES it. It’s even nicer in person – pictures don’t do it justice. If you order in the next few weeks, it should arrive on time. This is $45. I’ve also seen a few other patterns I love like this golden retriever pattern, trout print (great for a fisherman), and this bourbon pattern. They’re all super fun and priced well considering they’re needlepoint.

4. Ugg Slippers

Ugg slippers are anyone’s favorite gift. They’re on the more expensive end of Valentine’s gifts, but Tommy wears them everyday and still talks about how much he loves them, years after I gave them to him. They come in lots of colors.

5. Peter Millar Pullover

Peter Millar is one of Tommy’s favorite brands of clothes. This specific Peter Millar pullover is perfect gift for golf outings since it’s lightweight. This particular pullover is stretchy and sweat-wicking and get this — the fabric is UV blocking. If your man is anything like mine, he spends a LOT of time on the golf course so some UV blocking technology is a  welcome addition to this pullover.

6. Yeti Coffee Mug

Now they can keep their coffee hot on the way to work. I love that this Yeti Rambler fits in a cup holder, and it holds a ton of coffee. If he works from home, get him an Ember coffee mug to keep his coffee hot!

7. Carhartt Seat Tool Organizer

I got one of my five brothers this over-the-seat tool organizer for Christmas two years go.

8. Lululemon Trainer Shorts

If the man in your life loves to workout, a nice pair of shorts would be a great gift. These are SUPER high quality, look great (you can pick the length!) and come in lots of colors. These are the only shorts Tommy will workout in and Lululemon will replace any items if they start to pill, tear, or become too worn to wear.

If you like the idea of workout shorts but want to spent a bit less, this pair of men’s workout shorts from Amazon has great reviews!

9. Tecovas Duffle

I gave Tommy a leather duffle bag from Tecovas a few years ago and he LOVES it. The quality is amazing, but the leather feels more worn and rugged than other leather duffles on the market. It looks like they’ve updated the bag a touch, and it’s more expensive now, but if you’re looking for a nice gift, I can’t recommend this brand enough. Or, if you love the brand but not the price tag, a calfskin wallet would make a great gift too.

10. An experience

If gifts aren’t your thing, plan a getaway the weekend before Valentine’s Day or after! We went to the Dominica last winter and it was amazing. Spend time together and enjoy something you both like doing. Or, save your money and make dinner at home. Light a few candles, make a special cocktail, and start a new movie together. I always remember Valentine’s Day more fondly when I think about the time we spent together (especially when funny/awkward things like this happen).

I’d love to hear how you celebrate Valentine’s Day gifts for him or with your significant other, friends and kids!

I’m definitely in the Valentine’s Day headspace. It’s my VERY favorite holiday, and it feels like such a fun, bright spot in the otherwise pretty dreary winter months. I’ve loved Valentine’s Day for as long as I can remember. It was always a fun holiday in our house – the Valentine Man would visit our house each year and leave us little gifts, and now that I’m mom myself, I’m carrying on that same tradition for Thomas.

Tommy and I don’t typically exchange big gifts for Valentine’s Day but I can’t help but buy him something, and he’s the same way. Even if our gifts are small, we always make an effort to celebrate such a happy holiday. I shared my favorite Valentine’s Day gift ideas for the guys in your life in this blog post. (Side note: Tommy made our first Valentine’s Day together VERY memorable.)

It’s also fun to host a Galentines dinner party with girlfriends to celebrate your friendship. And hosting a Galentines dinner is the perfect excuse to really decorate. Order some cute heart plates or wine glasses, buy some heart-shaped pasta, and set your table on these perfect red placemats. There are really so many things you can do to celebrate that don’t involve gift giving. However, I’m a sucker for buying gifts for the people I love (which is why I have so many gift guides on my blog!).

In today’s post, I’m sharing gift ideas for the gals — either for your daughters, sisters, friends, or for yourself (just send this blog post to your Valentine as a hint;)).

10 Valentine’s Day Gifts Ideas for Her

Whether you’re shopping for a gift for yoru bestie or trying to drop a hint to your husband, I’ve got you covered with gift ideas! Another ideas is to host Galentines dinner. It’s the perfect excuse to celebrate your friends and give a little (or bigger!) gift! And, of course, to decorate for Valentine’s Day.

Many of these gift ideas I already own, which you can see on me in this LTK album.

1. “I love you so much” Frosted Cups

There’s something about a custom cup that makes me happy. I love when couples have their monogram on the cups at their wedding, we collect cups from The Masters every spring, and I even had custom cups made for Tommy last year as a Christmas present!

These “I love you so much” cups are the perfect gift for a galentine or to buy for your own household. My content manager, Hannah, brought these cups as her gift for a “Favorite Things” party last valentine’s day and they were a huge hit. They come in a set of 10 for only $15.

2. Personalized MAMA Necklace

I received this Heart MAMA necklace for Christmas two years ago, and it’s so beautiful but also simple enough to wear everyday (which I do!). If you’re a mom, you can add a charm for your little one’s initial(s). Hart also makes non-mama versions! This company has perfectly priced, high quality jewelry that you’ll truly treasure. For a similar look at a lower price, this Alter’d State necklace is a great option.

If you’re more of a bracelet gal, this heart MAMA charm bracelet is beautiful.

3. Chappy Wrap Cozy Blanket

I was gifted a Chappy Wrap blanket this summer and I’ve been obsessed ever since. While I know Barefoot Dreams blankets are what most people recommend as gifts (and don’t get me wrong, I own and love our Barefoot Dreams blankets), Chappy Wrap feels so much more elevated. They look nicer, the quality is SO good, and there are a ton of classic pattern and color options. If you’re looking for a throw blanket that’s cozy and soft but actually looks great in your living room, this is it.

These blankets are resistant to pilling and getting fuzzy, and the designs and colors are woven into the blanket, not printed on or dyed.

4. Lele Sadoughi Bow Stud Earrings

I was gifted this pair Lele Sadoughi bow earrings for Christmas and can’t stop wearing them. Bows are a huge trend already, but they’re forecasted to be even more popular in 2024. I love the medium size that’s noticeable but not too big or overwhelming.

These earrings are under $100 and if you order from ShopBop, you can use your Prime Shipping perks.

5. Simple Modern 40oz Tumbler

Am I a bad influencer because I think this Amazon Simple Modern tumbler is better than the infamous Stanley Tumbler? It’s cheaper, lighter and doesn’t leak…ever.

And the pink and red color combo? Come ON!

6. New Balance 327 Sneakers

The most popular sneakers on the market right now are the New Balance 327s, and they are in stock (in ALL SIZES) at Dick’s Sporting Goods. I don’t think it’s even worth sending this link to your Valentine. Buy them for yourself as fast as you can. I went 1/2 a size up from my typical shoe size and they are perfect. I wear them with leggings and joggers for athleisure outfits since they’re sporty, but you can also style them with casual jeans!

7. Lake Pajama Set

These green mini heart LAKE pajamas should be at the top of your wishlist if you don’t have a set. The green is perfect for wearing long after Valentine’s Day, and you could even get a set for your littles to match. I always size up in the Pima Cotton material because it shrinks (mostly in length) in the wash.

I filmed a video in this set so that you can see how it fits. And I shared a detailed review of all of the materials from LAKE in this blog post.

8. Colleen Rothschild Discovery Set

If you’ve followed me on Instagram for any length of time, you’ve heard about my love for Colleen Rothschild. There are a few products I could recommend that would make a great gift for any skin type, but the best bang for your buck is to get the Discovery Set since it contains their most popular products in mini sizes so you can try more at once.

You can read about my favorite Colleen Rothschild products in this full review.

9. Amazon Workout Set

I did a deep dive into Amazon athleisure and workout sets last year, and I discovered a few brands that are 90% as good as Lululemon. My favorite leggings are by HeyNuts and they run TTS, and if you get those, you should get a top from HeyNuts too so that the colors match perfect. I own and love this long line tank. I wear an XS in both.

If you aren’t in love with that top style, I also like the brand CRZ Yoga on Amazon. They have a ton of styles to choose from.

10. Niven Morgan Green Tea & Peony Fragrant Candle

A nice candle is a great gift since it’s not something people typically want to spend their own money on but they like receiving. I love the scent of this Niven Morgan Green Tea & Peony Fragrant Candle. It’s fresh and clean, but has a floral feminine feeling as well. It’s not a warm/vanilla-y scent, but more of a spring/summer scent you might find at a fancy hotel. I gave it to a few friends over the holidays.

Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

One of my favorite work-related tasks each October is creating my holiday gift guides. I put together specific gift idea lists for different categories: gifts for moms/grandmothers/sisters + yourself, gifts for guys (the hardest to shop for!), and gifts for the littles in your life. Then I get even more specific and create guides for different interests like running or beauty. And today, I’m creating a retailer-specific guide since I know so many of us prefer to order things from the same place when we can.

What is that one place? Amazon, of course! There’s nothing better than free shipping on something that arrives the next day. And since Amazon carries many my favorite retailers and items, I love that I am able to find so many great gifts for people in my life in one place. And it doesn’t hurt that they have such competitive pricing.

Today I’m rounding up my favorite gift ideas from our favorite one-stop-shop. I’m breaking this post up into His and Hers so that you can easily scroll and find ideas for those you’re shopping for. I have all of my gift ideas for kids linked in a separate post (and since they’re all from Amazon, I’m not linking them here). If there’s something I should add to the list, just drop a comment below this post so we can check it out.

I also have a TON of specific gift guides on my Amazon Storefront, so if you’re shopping for someone more specifically (teen boys and girls, white elephant parties, beauty or hostess themed gifts, you name it), and you can see all of those Amazon gift guides on my Storefront here.

My Favorite Gift Ideas from Amazon

For her

I’m sharing a few of my top picks below, but you can always find more ideas in my Gifts For Her list on my Amazon Storefront.

Simple Modern Water Bottle

My go-to gift in the $30 range is this Simple Modern water bottle. It’s better than the Stanley (yes, I said it), and every woman I know loves it. It’s lighter than the Stanley tumbler and doesn’t leak. And it’s also cheaper. I’ve gifted many of these in the last year. If you want to spend a bit more, pair the water bottle with a gift card, a candle, some LMNT electrolytes, or a lipgloss.

Ember Mug

I use my Ember mug every single day. It re-heats your coffee so you never have to take a cold sip. Those of you with busy kids know that you rarely get to drink your coffee while it’s hot, and this mug changes that. I gift one of these to my new-mom friends, often paired with a LAKE robe (here’s my full review of LAKE pajamas and loungewear).

Israel Coffee Table Book

This coffee table book is a mix of beautiful images and devotionals written by Tara-Leigh Cobble, who hosts The Bible Recap. I love looking through this book as I read the Bible. It’s so cool to see photos of the places I’m reading about, and I love that this book is decor on it’s own. I gifted one to my MIL for Mother’s Day and she loves it.

Goop Dry Brush

It’s always fun to receive fun beauty products you wouldn’t buy for yourself, like this dry brush. Dry brushing is a trend the beauty world I can get behind, so if you’re looking for a small gift to give someone who keeps up with beauty and wellness trends, this Goop Dry Brush is just the thing.

Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Wash

If you’re looking for a nice hostess gift to take to someone you’re staying with this holiday season, the Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Wash is a perfect gift. Luxurious hand soap is one of those things that people don’t like to buy for themselves but LOVE to have in their powder bathroom. The Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Wash smells clean and expensive. It’s not floral or super sweet, but rather the scent you’d expect in a luxury hotel. I love the packaging too.

Oversized Zipper Collared Pullover

I’ve been wearing this knit pullover non-stop for weeks since I bought it (I’m wearing mine as I type this). I love that it covers my bum and fits very oversized, and since the sizing is so forgiving, it would make a great gift! I have a size small.

Silk Pillowcase

This silk pillowcase was a best-seller during the Prime Big Deal Days and for good reason. It’s very hard to find real silk at such an affordable price! I love that these come in many colors and sizes, and have a hidden zipper making them very streamlined for the rest of your bedding. I ordered a handful of these to gift for Chrismtas this year.

Tortoise Shell Stemless Wine Glasses

I gifted these wine glasses to my content manager for her birthday and then my nanny got me a set for my birthday and I love them! They come in a set of 2, are made of the best thick/substantial blown glass material, and look so chic. And for only $30, you could gift two sets if you wanted to make a more full set!

Kindle E-Reader

As someone who is a real-book lover, I was hesitant to get an e-reader, but I honestly love mine mine! It’s so convenient, especially because I can leave it in my purse all day and read whenever I have to wait for an appointment. It’s also more comfortable to read in bed since I can read one handed and anything to be more comfortable while pregnant, I’ll take. The books are cheaper on Kindle too.

For Him

Similar to above, I’m highlighting my favorite Amazon finds below, but you’ll find more gift ideas in my Gifts for Him idea list on my Amazon Storefront.

Deep Tissue Massage Gun

We own and love our deep tissue massage gun, but it’s pretty expensive. We own the one that our sports massage team uses (and yes, I do think it’s worth the price), but if you’re looking for an affordable option, this budget-friendly massage gun by OLsky has incredible reviews. What guy doesn’t want a tool to help them loosen those sore muscles and knots in their back!? Saves you from giving back rubs too. Win win.

Record Player

I really love the idea of gifting a record player + some special records. It’s so fun to find old records at local stores, and you could begin a collection together. You can find some VERY expensive record players on the market, but this one for $40 on Amazon is too good to pass up. It also has bluetooth and AUX cord capabilities, so you’re not limited to vinyl.

Mini Portable Charger Power Bank

This portable charging bank is not a boys-only gift by any means, but it’s definitely a great option for the guys in your life if they’re complaining about their phone’s lack of charge all the time. I bought two of these for myself over Prime Big Deal Days so that I could keep one in my purse and one in my office. I love that you can keep using your phone while it’s charging your battery and that it doesn’t have any cords. If you keep it charged so that you can use it whenever you need, it’s such a blessing. No more excuses of phones dying while on the golf course. 😉

Oral-B Pro Electric Toothbrush

This Oral-B Pro is the toothbrush both Tommy and I have and love. A toothbrush may not be the most “fun” gift you could think of this season, but many guys like practical things.

Chirp Wheel Foam Roller

I’ve been seeing people talk about these back and neck foam rollers on Instagram and I think Tommy would LOVE them. If your husband or boyfriend complains about back pain all the time, these Chirp Wheel Foam Rollers would make a great gift. You lay on them and they help release the tension in your back and neck. Sounds heavenly.

Solo Stove Ranger 2.0

I’m getting Tommy a Solo Stove for Christmas so we can use it as a family. We’ve never had a fire pit in our new backyard and I think Thomas would have a blast making smores!

Eyeris 1 Eye Massager with Heat

These eye massagers make me giggle, but SO many people rave about them! They would be a great gift for any husband or dad who loves tech things (or is just overworked). I would honestly love to try them myself.

JBL Clip 3

A portable bluetooth speaker is always a great gift, but I LOVE that this one has a clip! It’s perfect to attaching to a golf bag. Think of all the ways they could use this — even just clipping it to their belt loop while they do house projects!

I’ll continue to add to my Amazon Storefront whenever I find more gift ideas for Him or Her. Make sure you’re following me there! And I always send out Amazon finds every Sunday to my email list, so be sure to join the list here.

Gifting for grandparents is one of my favorite parts of the holiday season. There are so many fun options and and if your gift has anything to do with their grandchildren, they are happy. Over the last few years, we’ve given some pretty great gifts to Thomas’s grandparents (if I do say so myself), and so today I thought I’d share them with you! Some are grandkid related, and others are just fun for them to use or enjoy as adults.

I would love to know some of the best gifts you’ve given grandparents over the years so that I can come up with ideas for this year!

The Best Christmas Gifts for Grandparents

First, let’s start with ones that are really for grandma or grandpa and have nothing to do with their grandkid. Then, we’ll get into some specific ideas if you want something more personal! My parents are in their 70s and 80s and my in-laws are in their 70s and these ideas have worked well for them. If the grandparents you are shopping for a bit younger, you may want to check out my Gift Guide for Guys and Gift Guide for Women.

Lake Robe

I’ve given this this Cozy Robe from LAKE to both my mom and MIL over the last two years and it was a hit with both of them, especially since they both live in places with very cold winters. This robe is lined in the softest fleece you’ve ever felt, and it’s incredibly thick and cozy for the cold winter months. It has deep pockets, a feminine turn-down collar, and the waist tie is sewn onto the back so you never lose it. I wear this robe every single morning and night in the cooler months. Even if the grandmother you’re gifting to already has a robe, I bet she’d switch to this one after feeling it.

23 & Me

We gifted 23 & Me, a DNA Genetic Testing Service, to Thomas’ grandma (aka B.G., Tommy’s mom) and she absolutely loved it. It’s a great idea for anyone who is hard to shop for because they already have everything and it’s also a great idea for family members who love family history and genealogy. It’s fun to get the results back and learn a bit about your family tree.

Hypervolt

Another year, we got Thomas’s OG (what he calls Tommy’s dad), a Hypervolt massage gun. OG is a golf pro, so he really appreciated being able to use the massage gun on his sore muscles. Tommy and I also own one of these and use it daily. It’s the same brand that our massage team uses, so you know it’s good. Come to think of it, this would be a GREAT gift for my mom since she does Crossfit 4-5x a week and has a 300 day run streak or something crazy like that! (And she’s 76!!!!)

Ember Mug

We gave Tommy’s mom an Ember mug last year because she’s always misplacing her coffee, and this way it will still be warm when she finds it. I cannot live without my Ember mug; I hate room temperature coffee but sometimes mom-life dictates that you can’t drink it right away. The Ember mug solves the hot-coffee struggle since it reheats your coffee to the perfect temperature anytime it starts to cool off.

All you do is charge the mug when you aren’t using it, and then you’re drinking hot coffee all morning. If the grandparents you’re shopping for are coffee or tea drinkers, this will be a hit. They also have a temperature controlled travel mug if they take their coffee on the go.

Chappy Wrap Blanket

I was gifted a blanket from Chappy Wrap earlier this year and it’s SO cozy. I really appreciate that it’s polished and smooth, since I’ve been getting so tired with my Barefoot Dreams blankets. These come in a few different sizes and would make a wonderful gift. I have the Harborview Herringbone Navy Blanket.

Gifts for New Grandparents

Skylight

We got both sets of grandparents a Skylight frame the first Christmas after my son was born and both sets LOVE IT. These frames show a slideshow of photos without any work on their part. You can send photos to the frame yourself through their, so there’s no need to worry about teaching grandparents how to use it. They can plug the frame into any outlet in their home (set up is SO easy, I promise), and then they’ll get to see photos of their grandkids all day, everyday!

Since neither of Thomas’ grandparents live in town (and my parents live across the country in Utah), they love getting to see regularly updates. Every time I talk to my dad, he mentions something he saw on the Skylight and he feels more connected to our life, which I so appreciate living so far away.

This is a great gift to do with siblings too since anyone you grant access to can upload photos. All five of my brothers upload to my parents’ Skylight frame.

Silhouette Photo

I love a classic silhouette photo and there are a countless places to have them made. When I had them made of Thomas for the grandparents (and us!), I used Jessica Beaver Creative and had a GREAT experience. Etsy also has loads of options for custom silhouette prints. You’ll just need a good profile picture of your kiddo for them to work off of (which wasn’t the easiest with a 1 year old, when I gifted these, ha).

I got our prints professionally matted and framed before gifting but you could easily just buy a frame online for a more budget-friendly gift.

Ornament with kiddo’s face

I gift a new one of these every year to the grandparents (and buy one for ourselves too!). We used Framebridge for custom ornmanets the last three years and it was a seamless experience. (And the quality was great. They even came in a cute gift box.) I think I may get our sonogram photo framed for baby #2’s first ornament. This would also be a great pregnancy announcement!

Personalized Gifts for Grandparents

Coffee Mug

While a custom coffee mug is slightly cheesy, I know that most grandparents would still treasure it. My mother-in-law is obsessed with Thomas, so she’d think this is hilarious and also love it and use it. Let’s be real – she has probably lost her Ember mug by now, so I’ll probably get this for her this year. You can find these all over, but the easiest place to order is likely Amazon.

Silhouette Jewelry from Vana Chupp

If you’re willing to splurge a bit, a silhouette necklace from Vana Chupp would an incredibly thoughtful and lasting gift. I didn’t know about this brand until recently, but now I want one of these for myself! Vana Chupp carries a few different options (monograms, full names, diamond details), but all of them are done with a photo of your child’s silhouette, so they are truly one of a kind and SO special. You can also get these in bracelet form which may be an even better option for some grandmothers.

You can choose between three different sizes for the silhouette charm, and I think medium is my preference. If you know that this recipient already has a charm necklace or bracelet, buy the charm on its own so she can add to her existing piece, which is what I would do for my MIL.

DIY Gifts for Grandparents

Professionally Framed Kiddo’s Art

One year we had one of Thomas’ painting professionally framed and gifted that to his grandparents. I loved that the frame was beautiful and would easily be something they could actually display, but the art had so much meaning. We have one in our dining room next to high-end art and people always think it’s something we bought off EBTH, like the rest of our art, which is kind of hilarious.

Acrylic Frames for Kiddo’s Art

For a more affordable option, these magnetic acrylic frames would be perfect for swapping art in and out! They are so easy to use and look great in every home. I bought these to put in my son’s bathroom.

Handprint or footprint ornament

I bought this little ornament kit this year from Amazon to make with Thomas! It’s a simple gift that’s so sweet!

I hope this helps make shopping for some of the most important people in your life a little easier!

This gift guide features fun gift ideas for your toddlers!

This is the third time I’ve put together a gift guide for kids, and I had the best time making it! Thomas will three and a few months old when Christmas rolls around, which is such a fun age. Over the last year, he’s started to love trucks and cars, ghosts (thanks YouTube) and playdoh. And just like last year, he still loves his his little bike. He’s grown and developed so much in the last year and I know he’s going to be a great big brother to baby #2.

Creating a gift guide for kids is a little difficult because kids are so different, ages matter a lot for toys, and boys and girls may prefer different things. And since I only have a 3 year old, I felt like it made the most sense to create a gift guide for toddlers, since that’s what I have real experience with. But I would LOVE if you’d leave comments on this post with gifts you’re buying or that were a hit with your kids in the past and their ages! That way we can all reference them later!

Okay then, ready? Let’s jump in.

Gifts for Toddlers

Retrospec Walker Balance Bike

This little balance bike/scooter is still one of Thomas’ favorite toys. He’s used it for two years straight and it still fits him pretty well. I personally love the color options and how sturdy/well-made it is. He uses it inside most often, but it’s sturdy enough to go outside too. It’s is $50 and comes in 10 colors. I think gifts like this are always a big hit on Christmas because they can sit right under the tree, unwrapped, and ready to play with.

Pop Up Ball Pit

This pop up ball pit is another gift that’s super fun to leave unwrapped and ready to play with on Christmas morning. Unfortunately, the balls don’t come with this pit, so you’ll want to buy this set at the same time. But for $40 together, you’ve already got your “big gift” for Christmas covered. Thomas loves getting in here and playing with us in the basement. I do have to say, the balls get EVERYWHERE, so just be warned.

Magnatiles Magnetic Building Tiles

These magnetic building tiles are a huge hit in the Adams household. Not only are they fun to use with him, but I love getting to see his little mind world while he builds with these. This set comes with 70 pieces, so you will have plenty to play with. He’s had his set for a year and still plays with it almost daily.

Kindle Fire Tablet

I really love having a Kindle Fire on hand for when Thomas needs a little distraction/down time. While I try not to let him have much screen time, I do think the Kindle Fire is a great option for when he is using a screen. Amazon Kids has great (and easy to use) parental controls, and you can subscribe to Amazon Kids+ for tons of books, games, songs, etc. It has about 10 hours of charge, so I rarely have to remember to charge it, which is also nice. It’s twice as durable as the iPad mini, so that should be the #1 reason you do this instead of an iPad. And it’s way cheaper. It isn’t as intuitive as the iPad but you’ll quickly learn hw to navigate it.

Christmas Pajamas

While holiday pajamas aren’t likely going under the tree (since you’ll want them to have them all season!), they’re SUCH a fun way to get in the spirit with your littles. Thomas has starting caring which PJs he wears and usually picks them out each night, which is super cute. I always thought it was so cute that my sister-in-law gave my nieces and nephews new PJs on Christmas Eve – I want to implement that tradition!

We specifically love the brand Hanna Anderson and LAKE Pajamas. Hanna Andersson has a bunch of cute, festive prints. They use a flatlock seam on all of their PJs, which makes them super cozy for kids since some seams can irritate little ones.

LAKE is actually my favorite brand for my own pajamas, and there’s just nothing like them! The quality is unmatched and they use the softest pima cotton. I splurged and bought Thomas and I matching sets last year, and it made me so happy. His set ran a little small, so size up if you’re on the fence. Their PJs do shrink just a little so I always hang dry his to make them last longer.

Montessori Toddler Tower

This is the exact tower we have in our kitchen for Thomas! He likes standing in this to eat his meals, help me cook, or play at the counter. It’s nice that he can get in it himself now, and he’s less likely to fall since the back rail is at a safe height.

Personalized Kid’s Chair

Thomas loves sitting his own chair. I love that it’s soft and easy to move from room to room. I also LOVE this one which goes with the nursery we’re planning for baby #2.

The Nugget

The Nugget is a REALLY great investment for you playroom. It’s part furniture, part toy. It’s basically a play couch that’s made of 4 foam pieces that can be configured in a ton of different ways. Also, it’s super soft and squishy, so it makes a great place to plop down in our playroom, but Thomas also loves to climb all over it. He has to “go down the slide” every night before bed (usually about 50x).

Little Tikes Trampoline

I’m actually getting Thomas this little trampoline for his birthday next week. As much as I hate buying more toys, all my friends say it’s 100% worth it since their kids use it for years.

Play sink

Thomas LOVED his play sink for two straight years, with or without the water! We used it outside when it was warm out, and we put it in the bathtub in the winter. The dials are all turnable it encourages kinesthetic development, and he actually started drinking out a cup better after playing with the cups in this set, even empty! This was a huge hit around 1 year old, so if you have a little one around that age, snag this for Christmas.

Play sink Gift Guide for Toddlers

Lovevery Play Kits

Thomas (and I) love these. Lovevery Play Kits are designed to be a subscription, and you get a new kit delivered every 3 months. What a great gift – new toys every three months that are catered to your child’s age! You can also purchase the playkits individually rather than the subscription but we LOVE the subscription.

The play kits have age appropriate, adorable toys in each box (but not too many toys, thank goodness), and they quality is really nice. It’s convenient and fun to get toys that are made for your child’s age, and to be surprised when the boxes come each month. This is a great gift suggestion for grandparents if they’re asking what to get their favorite grandkid! 😉

Look how tiny Thomas was!

lovevery playkit one of the items in Gift Guide for Toddlers

Play-Doh

What can I say? He’s obsessed with Play-Doh. Since he’s inevitably going to smash every color together in one giant ball anyway (every.time), I don’t get anything fancy.

Wooden Train Set

This train table set is the cutest EVER! I want to get this for Thomas this year. I don’t expect the train tracks to stay put on the table for long, but maybe he’ll like playing with them on the table as he gets older. He loves to play with that exact set at the Children’s Playhouse in Boone!

Kid’s Plastic Golf Set

If you follow me on Instagram, you know this was a hit in our house for a full year. Thomas isn’t quite as interested in golf right now as he once was, but if your little one loves it, this set is perfect and has everything you’d want.

Books

We loveee books in our house! Our favorites right now are from the website PaperPie. I love the books they sell and after buying a few from Amazon that were just so weird and poorly written, I will stick to this company!

This website is another good resource for grandparents. My friend Tracey Markland can help you shop.

FoxPrint Rocket Ship Tent

This is such a fun tent or fort for little boys or girls (two different designs!). I love the idea of reading books to Thomas in one of these. And the price is unbeatable. It would be cute to have to have it set up as surprise from Santa on Christmas morning. I think I’ll put this in Thomas’ room or playroom since those are the biggest rooms in our house!! (Spoiled much, kiddo?)

Keyboard Playmat

Even I want this keyboard mat! It’s huge so your kids use their feet to play each key. You can roll it up and store it easily too.

Children’s Museum Membership

Younger toddler’s won’t understand this on Christmas morning, but it’s the gift that keeps on giving! We have memberships at both Kaleideum Children’s Museum in Winston-Salem and The Children’s Playhouse in Boone and we ALL love going!! This is another great option for grandparents to give!

I think we can all agree that shopping for men is difficult. The men in my life are really practical, so I either have to think way outside the box, or get them something I know they’ll use or wear but won’t buy for themselves.

This year, I’ve rounded up a handful of the best gifts I’ve ever given the guys in my life, things they own and love, and ideas I have for this year. I hope that these gift ideas help inspire your holiday shopping! And while I do have a little boy in my life to gift for, I’m putting a separate gift guide for kids together so I’ll share my picks for Thomas in there.

Here are my top gift picks for Tommy, my brothers, my dad, and my father-in-law. Lots of these finds are actually on sale for Cyber Week too!

Tommy’s Favorite Things: Gift Guide for Guys

Duck Head Vest

Tommy’s ALL time favorite clothing brand is Duck Head. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen him do a few try-ons (which made us all giggle). Their clothes fit Tommy so well, they’re a nice blend of southern and outdoors-y, which is Tommy’s exact style. He claims their pants are the best fitting EVER. Since clothes are a somewhat boring thing to buy a guy for Christmas (especially khaki pants!), get your guy a vest! Tommy LOVES their vests, and they’re more fun to give than something basic like pants. AND the sizing is simpler. Tommy’s top pick is the Overland Quilted Vest. If vests aren’t your guy’s thing, check out Tommy’s list of favorite Duck Head finds.

Solo Stove FirePit

I think the Solo Stove Fire Pit is such a good gift idea for a guy. It’s pricey, but it’s something that you can use for years to come with your family. We don’t have a fire pit at our new house, and I’ve really been wanting this. So if I gift it to Tommy for Christmas, we both win! They make a few different sizes, so make sure to measure where you’d be putting this to know which one to order. Hannah (my employee) has the 19 inch size and says it’s perfect. They host friends at their house all the time and have never thought it was too small. She does not have the ash pan or base plate, but her’s sits on pavers.

Hypervolt Massage Tool

We got Tommy’s dad a massage gun two years ago for Christmas and he LOVES it. And Tommy and I actually have one and love ours as well. We originally bought it when I was training for marathons so I could use it on my sore muscles, and now Tommy and I use it equally. It’s truly life changing for getting knots out of your back, glutes, quads, you name it. My sports massage therapist uses this too! It’s a gift that keeps on giving. There are a few different brands that make similar massage guns, but we own the Hypervolt and love it.

Tecovas Weekender Bag

A few years ago, I got Tommy a leather duffle bag from Tecovas and he LOVED it (and still does). Sadly, that bag isn’t available anymore, otherwise I’d obviously link that for you. However, while I was looking for it, I noticed their Canvas Weekender and LOVED the style and size of it. Since we do weekend trips to our place in the mountains pretty often, this bag would make the perfect gift! It’s smaller than the duffle I gave him, and the waxed canvas material is durable and manly.

Ember Mug

Most of you already know my obsession with Ember by now, so I have to include the Ember mug in this lineup. In case you don’t know what an Ember mug is, it’s a coffee mug that keeps your coffee warm, so that you’re never taking a cold sip. So many of us parents know that by the time you’ve made your coffee and are ready to drink it, it’s cold because something else has taken your attention (cough, toddlers!). I ordered this mug for myself a few years ago and now I won’t drink my coffee without it. I gift these to new parents all the time because it made my mornings so much better when I was a new mom! If your husband, dad, father-in-law or brother loves a hot cup of coffee, they will love this thing. They make a travel version Ember as well.

Kodak Printomatic Instant Camera

I discovered the Kodak Printomatic Instant Camera at the Amazon Creator Summit in San Diego this fall, and I immediately thought it would be a great gift idea. My brother-in-law is super creative and would love something fun like this. It’s like a high-end Polaroid, and I love how slim and light it is. You can get a feel for the shape and size in this video I filmed.

Blundstone Chelsea Boots

Tommy loves a good pair of chukka or chelsea boots, and I’m eyeing this pair of BL585 Classic 550 Blundstones for him this year. These slip-on boots are rugged and comfortable (ideal for Boone trips and just the winter in general), and have a nice simple look to them that fits under all long pants. Blundstones are known for being super sturdy and practical, and they’re also weatherproof! While Tommy loves his L.L.Bean Duck Boots, I think he’ll like these even more because of the slip-on aspect.

L.L.Bean Wicked Good Moccasins

Speaking of L.L.Bean, if the guys in your life don’t have slippers or house shoes, then these Wicked Good Moccasins from L.L.Bean would make a great gift. They’re handsome and manly-looking, and they also have a thermoplastic rubber outsole so they can be worn outdoors if needed. I like that they’re under $100 too, since slippers inevitably have to be replaced every so often because they get so nasty inside!

LAKE Pajamas DreamKnit Boxer Set

I did not realize LAKE Pajamas had a men’s set in my favorite DreamKnit material, but now I know EXACTLY what I’m getting Tommy! I discovered the DreamKnit fabirc from LAKE after ordering a few of their other Pima Cotton sets and loving them. I didn’t realize that I had ordered a different material until it came one day, and ohmygosh it changed my life. This DreamKnit fabric feels like a mix of bamboo, silk, and velvet. It’s smooth, cooling, and SO soft. I don’t know a single guy in my life who’d spend over $100 on a set of pajamas, but I can guarantee you that they’ll understand why I splurge on PJs once they feel these. They run true to size!

Old Arcade Retro Classic Game Console

I LOVE this Old Arcade Retro Classic Game Console. I can think of so many guys in my life who would be excited to play old games on this. There are over 800 games pre-loaded on this thing! SO FUN!

Hatch Alarm Clock

This Hatch Restore Sound Machine/Alarm clock has taken the world by storm. It gently lights up your room with a warm, almost sunrise light and then alerts you that it’s time to get up with whatever gentle sound you choose. It also plays white noise as you fall asleep. And if you want to take up a notch, you can pay for the Hatch subscription to get extra sounds/meditations/sleep stories, etc. The idea of being woken up gently with warm light sounds AMAZING. It actually supports healthy cortisol levels too because you’re not waking up to a harsh, loud alarm.

Narada Solid Fragrance

This solid cologne has the best notes ever: bergamot, rosewood, and ginger with hints of black pepper and resin. I’m getting this for my brother in law! He’ll love the scent, but I think he’ll also like how it’s packaged. Very cool.

I love love love making gift guides for ladies. It’s probably the easiest guide I make each year since I just compile my own Christmas list or a list of things I own and LOVE. This year, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite fashion finds (but don’t worry, the sizing is easy!) and a few beauty essentials that I love and use daily. If you’re anything like me, you use gift guides like this to inform your OWN wishlist, so hopefully something on this list catches your eye, and you can send the link to this blog post to your elves.

I HIGHLY recommend shopping early this year to make sure you can get gifts under the tree in time. I also love to shop early every year so that I can enjoy it so much more and can focus more on enjoying the holiday season once it arrives. And many of the gifts below are discounted this week for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which is another great reason to place your orders sooner rather than later!

TeriLyn’s Favorite Things: Gift Guide for Ladies

LAKE Pajamas Robe or Pajama Set

One of my very favorite brands to to gift and receive is LAKE Pajamas. LAKE makes the softest products in the prettiest prints and colors in classic styles. I own about 6-7 sets of their PJs, a couple nightgowns and two of their robes, no lie.

When I’m gifting LAKE to a friend or family member, I typically send them the Cozy Robe since it’s luxurious and likely something they wouldn’t buy themselves. Plus, since it’s a bathrobe, the sizing is forgiving. If you’re unsure what size they wear, your guess is probably a good one.

However, if you do know the recipients size, any set of their pajamas in the DreamKnit fabric is also a perfect gift. The DreamKnit PJs run true to size and don’t shrink in the wash. However, the LAKE Pima Cotton sets do shrink in the wash, so size up in those.

Anything from LAKE will make a perfect gift on its own, but if you wanted to take it up a notch, you could pair the robe or PJ set with a body scrub, a fancy candle, or super fancy slippers. (I was gifted these last year and love them SO MUCH.)

Madewell Essential Bucket Tote Bag

I got this leather bucket bag from Madewell’s new fall arrivals a month ago and, WOW, do I love it. It’s large enough to fit a laptop but small enough to use as a daily purse. The shoulder strap is the perfect width too. You don’t realize how much of a difference a thicker shoulder strap makes in terms of comfort until you’re carrying it. The chocolate brown color is versatile and the buckle detail elevates the bag vs. a more basic option.

The Madewell Essential Bucket Tote would be a perfect Christmas gift to add to your own wishlist or to gift to a fashion-obsessed friend or family member in your life.

New Balance 327 Sneakers

The shoe of the year is this pair of 327 sneakers from New Balance. Every year there’s a pair of sneakers that the world falls in love with (and that sell out SO fast), and this year, it’s the New Balance 327. Thankfully, Anthropologie is doing pre-orders for a few different colorways. While it’s not the instant gratification we all want when we order something online, these WILL arrive before Thanksgiving, with plenty of time to wrap and gift for the holidays. I wear a 1/2 size up from my regular shoe size and they’re SO comfortable.

New Balance 327 Sneakers as part of Gift Guide for Her

SPANX Air Essentials Half Zip

Last year, this Air Essentials Half Zip from SPANX made Oprah’s Favorite Things list and sold out in seconds. It would have made the best gift ever if I could have actually ordered it last year for friends, but alas, I couldn’t get my hands on it anymore once Oprah shared it. I was gifted this pullover at LTK Con last year, and every single one of us influencers absolutely freaked out over the quality and how soft it was. Now that SPANX has restocked enough of these to go around, I think it’s going to be a VERY well-loved gift this year. I have an XS and it fits true to size.

Ember Coffee Mug

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably expected to see the Ember Mug on this gift guide list. I talk about this self-heating mug all the time. I got hooked on it as a new mom since my coffee always got cold before I could finish it and now 3 years later, it’s still the only mug I use.

It comes with a charger that looks like a coaster that the mug goes on to charge. Once it’s fully charged, the self-warming puck built into the mug lasts for hours without needing to go back on the charging coaster. You can customizing the heat settings through the Ember app, too! I LOVE this mug and can’t drink my coffee without it now.

I have the 14oz size and think it’s far superior to the 10oz.

Mejuri Heart Pendant Necklace

For the jewelry loving gals in your life, the Mejuri Heart Pendant Necklace is the PERFECT gift idea. It’s made with a 18k solid gold coating on top of sterling silver, so it will last for a really long time. The chain on this necklace is adjustable from 16″-18″ and the heart itself is the perfect size to be worn daily. I love all of my Mejuri pieces and love that their pieces are priced so well. (That link above will get you 10% off too!)

If you prefer something a little more personal, this “mama” initial necklace from Hart Studio is a great gift idea. I was gifted this last year and wear it a few times a week at least. And I can add a second initial for baby #2’s name whenever I’d like, which is so special.

Nespresso Vertuo Next Coffee and Espresso Maker

A Nespresso is a great gift for any coffee lover (along with that Ember Mug). I got one a few years ago when I decided to cut back on caffeine. I was drinking 8 cups of coffee a day, and one of the contributing factors was that I was making a full pot of coffee each morning. The Nespresso makes one cup at a time which helped me limit how much I was drinking + made my one (or two, let’s be honest) cup of coffee so much better. I also appreciate the half caff pods. Nespresso has a few different models, but the Vertuo is the one we have and love. If you buy this, make sure to get some pods so that you can use it on Christmas morning! I also have this Nespresso milk frother and love it.

Kindle Paperwhite

I always prefer a real book to an electronic copy, but I did decide to splurge on the Kindle Paperwhite for a few trips I had planned this fall. I didn’t want to pack multiple books in my luggage, so I figured a Kindle was a better option. And I have to admit, I LOVE it. It’s so sleek, small, and easy to hold with one hand. It has adjustable warm light so that you’re not keeping yourself awake with traditional screen light AND has up to 10 weeks of battery life. It’s a great gift idea for anyone who loves to read.

Chappy Wrap Blankets

I was gifted a Chappy Wrap blanket earlier this year and it’s the coziest (and best looking) throw blanket we have now! I love how thick it is, but it’s not heavy or annoying to have to fold up everyday. This would make such a great gift because you can choose a color that feels best aligned with whoever you’re gifting to! I have the Harborview Herringbone Navy Blanket.

There are a few different size options, so you can definitely find a blanket under $100!

Serena and Lily Westwood Quilt

I never expected to be this passionate about bedding, but here I am telling you it’s worth asking Santa for bedding for Christmas. Tommy and I love this Westwood quilt so much that we own 3. They are on every bed in our house (and in our Boone vacation home). The material is luxurious and the weight is just right. We own the white since it’s so classic, but this also comes in other colorways. It would make a wonderful gift for moms or grandmothers who appreciate nice home gifts!

While you’re ordering the quilt, you might also want to consider this Fresh Magnolia Wreath. It’s real (sooo beautifully made), and dries out perfectly over the weeks that you display. We got ours a week ago and it’s more beautiful than I anticipated.

I shared all of the Serena and Lily items we have in our home in this home tour blog post. We love our counter tools, bed sheets, and towels.

More Affordable Gifts for Her

Simple Modern 40oz Water Bottle

I tested the Stanley 40oz water bottle against thiis Simple Modern 40oz water bottle from Amazon and Simple Modern won by a LANDSLIDE. Not only is slimmer and lighter, but it doesn’t leak and costs less! AND you can find it in stock almost all of the time. I often gift these to friends for birthdays and holidays. It’s the perfect gift for a smaller budget ($30), and everyone loves it! If you need a gift for your child’s teacher or your niece/cousin, this is it.

Amazon Toiletry Bag

I ordered this travel toiletry bag after seeing someone share that it fits a TON of stuff and oh my gosh were they right. I seriously can’t get over how great this is, especially as someone who used to pack 3 separate toiletry bags for trips. I’m religious about my skincare routine and love to switch up my makeup, so I often pack many options. This bag fits every single thing I need (see in this video), other than my hair care (I take 3-5 hair care items too). It’s a perfect gift for your girlfriends this season and would also be a fun “vehicle” for other fun stocking-stuffer-sized products.

Colored Wine Glasses

I have gifted a few different brands/styles of colored wine glasses in the last year and they’ve always been a hit! I gave this set of 6 pink set of wine glasses to a work friend last year and she raved about them. Also, I gift this tortoise shell set of two stemless glasses to my Content Manager a month ago and she’s using them non-stop. And then I saw this set of colored champagne coupe glasses last week at the Amazon Creator Summit and LOVED them. I can’t decide which is best since I love them all. So, just choose the set that makes the most sense for your friend’s style!

Perfume Samplers

I haven’t been a big perfume gal until this year when I discovered a few clean perfume brands that I realy like and that I don’t react to (most perfumes make me very stuffy). And while gifting perfume can be hard since scents are so personal, DIME Beauty makes a perfect sampler set! For only $28, you can gift 5 different scents for them to try. I love the majority of them, but Lovely Sweet Dreams is my favorite from this set. You could pair it with an overnight lip mask, if you want.

Colleen Rothschild Quench & Shine Restorative Hair Mask

I tried the Quench and Shine Restorative Hair Mask from Colleen Rothschild last year and it blew my mind. I prefer it over my regular conditioner most days! It’s so hydrating but doesn’t weigh hair down, and it smells amazing. It lasts 5-6 months too. You could gift it on its own or pair it with fun claw clips to stick with the hair theme.

That’s all for now! Be sure to follow my Amazon Storefront for more ideas and check out my other gift guides below! I’ll be updating the guides below over the next week, but you can see last year’s picks right now.

Struggling to find gifts for runners who have everything? This gift guide has you covered with gift ideas in all price ranges.

As a long-time runner who has run four marathons and over 20 half marathons, I often get asked this time of year what to get someone who likes to run. It’s usually being asked by friends, parents or spouses of runners, and I love hearing when loved ones are supporting their favorite runners in their goals!  I’m not running quite as much these days as I near my third trimester with our second baby, but it still makes me so happy to help people shop for running gear.

But I know it can be difficult to find gifts that they don’t already have, since most runners love their gear and love trying new gear. These gifts are in lots of price ranges, so you’re sure to find something. If you want to get something smaller for your best running friend, check out my Gifts Guide for Runners under $20.

15 Gifts for Runners Who Have Everything

1. Shokz Earphones

I used AirPods for running for a while, but these Shokz headphones are much better (and safer!). I shared a full review of Shokz in this blog post. And you can see how they fit in this Instagram video. I especially love them for running on trails when I need to be very aware. The battery life is really good too – even for long distance runners.

2. Muscle Roller

As a runner myself, this muscle roller is so essential for working out the tightness in my legs. I try to use mine a few times a week, and I really do notice a difference. It’s more expensive that other rollers, which makes it a really nice gift that they’d be excited about. This foam roller is a more affordable option if they don’t own one yet!

3. InsideTracker

Biometric testing would make a very unique gift this year that still supports their running goals. This service analyzes your bloodwork and gives you specific recommendations for nutrition, exercise and lifestyle on what to improve as it relates to your health and fitness. You can also set goals to improve endurance and they’ll customize your recommendations to support that. I love it! I have a full review that answers most FAQs. Use this InsideTracker link and code TERILYN at checkout for 20% off a plan.

4. Light-up vest

I use this every time I run in the dark. It’s waterproof, sweat-proof, incredibly lightweight and I feel so much safer with this on. My three best running friends have it too and love it.

4. Equilibria CBD Relief Cream

I LOVE this stuff for tight muscles. And so does my 75 year old mom who runs and does Crossfit. It’s a thick balm that you rub on any spots with pain and the CBD in the cream helps relieve pain and inflammation. Read my full review of Equilibria CBD for all of my Equilibria favorites. Use code “terilynadams” for 15% off your first order.

5. Garmin Running Watch

This affordable Garmin would be a great gift for a runner who doesn’t yet have a GPS watch. Garmins are a great tool to help improve your favorite runner’s training and I have never had one stop working, which is why it makes such a great gift. I love that I can see my pace in real time as I’m running so that I can follow my training plans the right way! They also have GPS so that you can see your running route, monitor your heart rate, check your cadence and more.

6. Running socks

They are ALWAYS the best gift ideas. New socks are the best!! My favorite budget pick is this Zella pair which comes in a pack of 3, but to really treat your favorite runner, I’d buy SwiftWick or Bombas socks. I also have a list of all the best socks that may be helpful.

My personal favorite are Injinji’s – yes, they’re weird looking but I love them since I have some foot problems. (They’re great if you have hammer toes or issues with toes wanting to overlap when you run.) If you want to make it a slightly bigger gift, throw in a pair of Oofos slides! They aren’t cute but MAN they’re comfortable after a run.

Pro-tip if you’re new to shopping for running socks: make sure the fabric is not made of cotton (a major blister cause). Runners want their socks made of moisture-wicking material.

7. Hypervolt Massage Gun

If you’ve ever asked yourself “What do you give a marathon runner?” the answer is this. The Hypervolt is used in sports massages because it’s so effective. I got Tommy one of these two years ago and we both say it’s one of the  best gifts we’ve gotten. I also got one for my father-in-law who is a golf professional and he loves it. This Amazon massage gun is more affordable and also has great reviews.

8. Goodr Sunglasses

These Goodr Sunglasses are the only ones I wear. They come in lots of colors and they don’t slip off my face. Only $25 too! They stay in place for my entire workout (no matter how sweaty).

9. Running Cookbook

I always recommend this Run Fast Eat Slow cookbook when I get asked about running nutrition. I make recipes from this cookbook weekly. It makes a perfect gift! (I’ve actually given it to four friends for Christmas and birthdays!)

You could pair the cookbook with some energy gels or running fuel chews to make it a slightly larger gift.

10. Down For It All Vest

The Down For It All Vest is the best running vest on the market, I promise. I bought this a few years ago because I needed a layer for cold runs that wasn’t a full on jacket and MAN I wish I had ordered it sooner. It’s lightweight, has pockets, fits right against your body so there’s not bouncing, and isn’t TOO warm. The fit is true to size. I wrote a full review of the Down For It All vest here.

11. Simple Modern Water Bottle

This isn’t a water bottle they can run with, but it will help them get ALL their water in throughout the day. I also own the Stanley tumbler and this Simple Modern version is 10x better. It does not leak, has a slimmer look, weighs less, and the price is better. Add a pack of LMNT to this bottle as a little extra gift.

12. Running Jacket

My favorite running jacket is the Cross Chill jacket by Lululemon. It has just the right amount of stretch and warmth for long runs. It’s waterproof too, which comes in clutch for running in the elements. I love the white color, but you can get it in 5 different color options. This post about running in the cold has more cold-weather running gear if you want to get warm clothes for your outdoorsy runner.

13. Running Hat

Running hats are essentials for all runners. This TrailHeads hat is cute and breathable. And it won’t break the bank either!

14. LMNT Electrolytes

LMNT electrolytes are a great gift idea. These are my ALL time favorite electrolytes, and I’ve tried dozens. My favorite flavors are watermelon and raspberry. Citrus is pretty good too. Use this DrinkLMNT link to get a free LMNT Sample Pack with any order (and get some for yourself too!). I’d get the variety pack so that they can try a few flavors.

15. Running Belt

I didn’t like running with a running belt until I tried this Spibelt (which is essential for running while pregnant). It holds your phone, keys, cards, fuel and it doesn’t bounce. I highly recommend for any trail runners or runners who run routes that require them to carry things with them.

Okay, your turn – if you’re a runner, what would you love to get for Christmas this year? If you need more ideas for a specific runner, feel free to leave a comment and I’ll try to help you!
